S’mores Sticks

These S’mores sticks are all the campfire fun without the heat. I mean who doesn’t love a big fluffy marshmallow dipped in rich dark chocolate?

So where did the idea of s’mores sticks come from? Well I was at a party once and they had these chocolate covered marshmallows dusted with graham crackers sitting firmly on bamboo sticks. I proceeded to eat 5 of them. Four years later, I remembered this delicious treat existed. However, I had not idea where I could get them. Not to mention it seemed like something I could whip up in the blink of an eye. I love when I am right.

You won’t be able to stop at just one skewer. You might be like me and just eat the whole pan.

Pictures like this make me wish the chocolate river in Willy Wonka was real.

Ingredients

  • 12 Jumbo Marshmallows
  • 1 (10 oz) bag Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • 1/4 cup of Crushed Graham Cracke
  • 6 (6 inch) Skewers

Instructions

  1. Skewer two marshmallows closely at the top of the skewer and place on a parchment lined backing sheet..
  2. Place melting wafers in a heat safe small bowl and place over a small pot with a few inches of water on low heat. The water can simmer but make sure it does not boil. Stir chocolate often to prevent burning.
  3. Once melted transfer chocolate to a tall glass or large deli cup.
  4. Fully dip each marshmallow into the chocolate and rotate 2-3 times to fully cover the marshmallows.
  5. While rotating the skewer sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the chocolate covered marshmallow.
  6. Place dipped marshmallow on parchment lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set. Carefully peel off parchment paper and serve.

Notes

  • If you are REALLY missing the toasted marshmallow flavor you can toast the marshmallow with a mini blowtorch before dipping in chocolate. Make sure to let cool before dipping in chocolate.
